
Universal Green School successfully hosted an enlightening Workshop on the POSH Act (Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace) on 24th October 2025 at Seminar Hall 1, under the IQAC initiative of the Universal School of Administration.
The session aimed at spreading awareness about creating and maintaining safe and respectful workplaces for women, in alignment with the principles of the POSH Act, 2013. The event was presided over by Mr. R. Upendra Shetty, Chairman of Universal Group of Institutions, whose visionary leadership continues to guide the institution’s commitment to gender sensitivity and empowerment.


The guest speaker, Ms. Shweta Krishnappa, Additional Government Advocate, Advocate General’s Office – Karnataka High Court, addressed the participants on the importance of legal literacy, the role of institutional committees, and preventive mechanisms to foster dignity and equality at workplaces.
The workshop witnessed enthusiastic participation from faculty, staff, and students. It served as a reminder that ensuring safety and respect for women is not merely a compliance requirement but a shared social responsibility.
Through this initiative, Universal Green School once again reaffirmed its dedication to nurturing an environment where equality, respect, and integrity form the foundation of learning and professional conduct.
