Universal Green School celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm and a strong message of environmental responsibility. The event encouraged students to understand the importance of protecting nature and becoming active contributors to a greener future.
The celebration began with a special assembly programme by the children, where students highlighted the need to conserve trees, reduce pollution, save water, and care for the environment. Through speeches, slogans, and meaningful performances, they spread the message that every small action can make a big difference.
A special skit was performed by the students, creatively showing the harmful effects of environmental neglect and the importance of planting trees, avoiding plastic, and living in harmony with nature. The performance helped students connect environmental awareness with real-life responsibility.
As part of the celebration, the school also conducted a plantation drive, where students and staff actively participated in planting saplings. A procession was carried out in the nearby area, during which students carried placards and spread awareness among the public about protecting the environment.
To extend the message beyond the school campus, plants were distributed to people, encouraging them to nurture greenery in their homes and surroundings.
